Deadline for submissions is May 1.

Young Americans Exhibition Dates:

June 1 - June 10

Opening Artists Reception: Friday, June 1 5-8pm

3S Artspace, in partnership with The Drift Collective, invites artists from the Northeast, aged 13-25, to submit 2D work for the upcoming exhibit entitled Young Americans. Artists will be notified on or before May 7 if their work will be included in the exhibition.

Young Americans seeks to present a carefully curated exhibition of the work of young artists growing up in America today.  Every generation, every individual has a voice.  Show us yours.  From the personal to the political, your work will be considered.

Three prizes will be awarded by the Young Americans review team: 1. The Drift Featured Artist Award (Top art award, no age restriction) One artist will be selected as the next Drift Featured Artist. Work with this sustainable fashion brand to create your very own Featured Artist Line, in which your work will be featured on Drift’s signature one-of-a-kind, reworked clothing. Sold exclusively at Drift, a portion of all profits from the Featured Artist Series goes directly to the selected artist. This winner will also receive $200 worth of custom apparel featuring their artwork. 2. Young Americans Teen Art Award (ages 13-19) One artist in the teen category will receive a $50 gift card to Drift Collective, and a $50 gift certificate for 3S Artspace. 3. Young Americans Young Adults Art Award  (ages 20-25) One artist in the 20's category will receive a $50 gift card to Drift Collective and a $50 gift certificate for 3S Artspace.

Submission Fee:  3S Artspace is waiving the submission fee for this exhibit to further support the development of young artists.  There is no fee to apply.
