This new, feature-length documentary profiles the extraordinary life of NH resident, Col. Norman Phillips (USAF, ret.).
You will see Norm go from an unsupervised child of the Depression, to a highly decorated WWII fighter pilot, then Cold War squadron commander, service in the Pentagon, Vietnam vet, college student, professor of sculpture at UMass, and now a published author.
Many veterans are reluctant to relate their wartime experiences – not Norm! He witnessed much of the 20th century from 12,000 feet, giving him a unique perspective that he shares with strikingly candid opinions. He may just be one of the last clear voices of a generation.
This is the film’s first public showing. Following the film, there will be a talk-back session with Norm and the filmmakers, plus a reception with cash bar.
