Tech Associate (part-time)

3S Artspace is accepting resumes for event-based lighting and sound technicians with experience working in live music venues. Specific duties will vary show to show based on the technical specifications related to each performance. Candidates must possess general proficiency with ETC lighting consoles and digital sound mixing consoles, preferably Allen and Heath consoles.

We are looking for candidates to periodically support our full-time tech manager as events ramp up in 2022. Evening and weekend availability is essential.



  • Proficiency with setting up and maintaining live sound equipment
  • Proficiency in live sound mixing


  • Ability to hang, circuit and focus lighting instruments
  • Proficiency with ETC lighting consoles and lighting equipment
  • Experience running lights for live music and theatre performances
  • Experience with video streaming preferred

Candidate must be able to work amicably and respectfully with 3S staff, touring musicians, and their teams.
