Loading Dock Concert Series: PMAC Summer Jazz Workshop

Loading Dock Concert Series: Portsmouth Music and Arts Center - Summer Jazz Workshop
Friday, July 12
Free (suggested donation of $5-10)

The Loading Dock Concert Series at 3S Artspace is held Fridays in July and August from 7 - 9pm. Certain dates include special early-evening performances by PMAC students, beginning at 5:30pm. With a top notch lineup of local acts for the season, this is another free, family friendly event (donations of $5-$10 are appreciated!). The concerts are held outside in our Loading Dock, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets to experience summer sunsets set to music. And yes, there will be bar service!

About the PMAC Summer Jazz Workshop:
PMAC's Teen Jazz program, led by Teaching Artists Matt Langley and Chris Klaxton, provides students the opportunity to learn current and jazz standard repertoire in both a small combo and big band setting. Students dive into learning the week's music through playing, listening and creating. The Teen Jazz Camp week culminates with their performance at 3S Artspace on July 12th.

The Teen Jazz Band program is part of PMAC's Jazz Institute - a year round program that enables students to work with leading jazz musicians and educators from the seacoast area.
