Join us at 3S for our inaugural Portsmouth Print Expo– a celebration of printmaking artists of the Northeast! You'll find woodcuts, lithographs, screen prints, and monotypes from artists selling their prints in the Performance Space, a Print Exhibition in the Gallery, live demonstrations, workshops, and live music!
For this event's theme, artists were asked to respond to the prompt "In This Moment" with their works: What's on your mind? What are you loving? Celebrating? Protesting? Contemplating? Grieving? Honoring?
Demos on Sunday, August 11 include 3D printing with artist Linda Behar, printing on a press with Don Gorvett, and Little Chair Printing will have their one-of-a-kind screenprinting bike on site, printing t-shirts! Plus, we'll have live music: Carand Burnet will perform a set at 3pm in the Loading Dock area– a fusion of surf rock, psychedelia, and global influences.
