Nearly a decade after its release, Gawk found an unexpected second life when “Alien Blues” went viral on TikTok, soundtracking millions of videos and amassing hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. What began as a cult favorite in Boston DIY circles evolved into a global anthem for a new generation—proof that Vundabar’s oddball, hook-driven songwriting is as timeless as it is distinctive."
