"I am interested in drawing attention to the sublime beauty and fragility of the ocean against the backdrop of environmental threats. I want to invite the viewer into a moment of contemplation and impart the nostalgia of an unblemished world.
The exhibit, At Ocean’s Edge, will showcase a series of cyanotype prints that capture the movement of the ocean tide. The singularity of each wave is preserved with distinctive shades of indigo blue and unpredictable patterns. The level of the tide, the power of the waves, and the intensity of the sun collide and work in unison to produce each unique piece."
