Give and Take
works by Bunkt
November 7 - 30 | Opening Reception / Meet The Artist / Friday, November 7 / 5 - 8pm during Art 'Round Town

Artist Statement
Bunkt’s art is driven by raw emotion–– an interplay of anxiety, excitement, and anger emerging from within chaos. His studio floor is strewn with supplies and unconventional materials, reflecting a process that is ever-changing and experimental. Each painting evolves through countless transformations—glued, stapled, burnt, cut, and rearranged—revealing a story of hardship and resilience.

Artist Bio
Brian Wagoner, known in the art world as Bunkt, lives and works in New Hampshire. Brian’s work is likened to punk rock for its imperfect and raw emotion–– it doesn't talk, it screams.
A self-taught artist, Brian began painting at the age of 45. After only a few short months of painting, he was chosen to show his work at a gallery, igniting a relentless pursuit of painting and self-discovery.
He paints constantly, his work evolving at a rapid pace. Unrestrained by formal training, his process remains authentic, experimental, and lawless. His work intentionally jabs at the convention and challenges the boundaries of the traditional art world.
