Hip-hop was born in the Bronx, NY at a house party thrown by DJ Kool Herc at 1520 Sedgwick Ave on August 11, 1973. To celebrate 50 years, DJ Skooch and guest DJ MAM are throwing down all the hottest hip-hop jams from the entire semicentennial: old school, 80s, 90s, 00s, and today! Clean up your kicks and get ready to bust a move…this party is gonna be off the hook!

DJs Skooch + MAM juggle songs featuring some of hip-hop’s most iconic samples
8:30PM: SKOOCH - True Old School Set
DJ Skooch goes back to hip-hop’s origins with the earliest tracks from pioneers like Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Spoonie G, and Slick Rick.
9:00PM: SKOOCH + MAM - Golden Age Set
DJs Skooch + MAM mix and mash-up the best of 80s hip-hop, including De La Soul, Salt-N-Pepa, Doug E. Fresh, Eric B. and Rakim, Run DMC, and more.
10:00PM: SKOOCH + MAM - 9Deez Set
DJs Skooch + MAM drop the best of 90s hip-hop from the East Coast to the West Coast to the Dirty South, along with hits from queens like Lil Kim, kings like Busta Rhymes, and crews like Wu-Tang and Naughty by Nature.
11:00PM: SKOOCH + MAM - 2K Bangers Set
DJs Skooch + MAM bust into this century with nothing but fire from artists like 50 Cent, Missy Elliott, Ja Rule, Ludacris, and Lauryn Hill.
11:30PM SKOOCH - Hip-Hop Today Set
