Fresh Takes:
Celebrating a Decade of Contemporary Artists at 3S Artspace

To mark our 10th anniversary, 3S Artspace is proud to present Fresh Takes: Celebrating a Decade of Contemporary Voices at 3S Artspace, a juried exhibition featuring artists who have exhibited with us since our opening for full time operations in 2015.

This group show will reflect on the diverse and evolving practices that have helped to shape our space and enrich our community over the past decade.  

We invite artists to submit up to three pieces for consideration– work that speaks to the present moment– whether through new pieces or recent iterations of ongoing projects. This is not a “best of” show, but a living archive of artistic dialogue, experimentation, and connection. Unlike our usual exhibitions, we are hoping to share 1 - 2 pieces of yours, and are not looking for a comprehensive body of work.  

Eligibility

This open call is exclusively for artists who have previously exhibited at 3S Artspace in a solo or group show between 2015 and 2025.  Main Gallery and Lobby Gallery artists are both welcome to apply.  

Number of works: Up to [3] works may be submitted for consideration.

Media: All media welcome, including 2D, 3D, installation, video, and performance (please include tech requirements).

Work Creation Date: Works created within the past 3 years are preferred.

Selection Process

Submissions will be reviewed by our team. Our goal is to present a show that reflects the breadth, diversity, and vitality of the artistic voices that have been part of 3S over the last decade.

All applicants will be notified of selection status by June 30, 2025.

Honorarium

Selected artists will receive a modest honorarium, in alignment with our nonprofit resources.  

Works for sale are subject to a 60% (artist) /40% (nonprofit) split revenue model. 3S Artspace will manage the curation, installation, and publicity for this celebratory group show.

It's been an honor to share the work of so many talented artists, and while  this is a quick turnaround, we look forward to curating a very special group show. We were recently named Best Gallery in NH by NH Magazine, and we look forward to having this exhibit as a part of our ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations!
