About Vapors of Morphine:
On Vapors of Morphine's new album, Fear & Fantasy, virtuosic baritone sax remains a load-bearing pillar, as does the two-string slide bass, flowing with the "Morphine sound," with added sonic expansion. The record pushes into the unusual right away and transitions into a foggy nightscape that is both familiar and foreign, like returning home in a dream with a new color palette.
About Muddy Ruckus:
Portland, ME-based Muddy Ruckus is a duo of “darkly inventive Americana” according to the New York Music Daily. Playing a grungy style of railroad indie punk blues, they blend rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit, pumping out a full rock band sound.
“Legit dance hall crashers.” - Glide Magazine
"Infectious, foot-stomping Americana tunes. Similar to the White Stripes in duo power, Muddy Ruckus delivers a full-bodied sound with nothing but a guitar and suitcase drums.” -The Sound
