Feminist Oasis in partnership with 3S Artspace: Local Womxn 250 x 3

Presented by Feminist Oasis in partnership with 3S Artspace: Local Womxn 250 x 3
250 womxn leaders
3 hours
an evening of networking, art, dancing

Tuesday, April 17
7pm – 10pm

Wherever it is you lead or want to lead, these are the womxn you want around you! Meet someone you’ve always wanted to meet or someone you never knew you wanted to meet. At this event we’ll come together and raise a glass to the power of multipliers in our incredible community of womxn!

A few months ago, I posted on Facebook: “Local women biz/org owners — go!” I was blown away by the response — nearly 500 businesses and organizations led by badass womxn were tagged in the comments in the hours and days after that one simple social media post. Several commenters started asking the same question — “When are we all getting together?!” Well, here’s our excuse to do just that! (We figured we’d shoot to get at least of half of the women tagged in that post to show up, hence our goal of 250. But hey, let’s make that an underestimation, shall we?)

We’re using the incredible, women-centric gallery show: “Glass Ceiling: Limitless View” at 3S Artspace as an excuse to get together, network, look at the art and get our groove on with tunes by DJ Skooch.

If you are a woman business leader, nonprofit leader, political activist, artist, creative leader, community instigator or badass just getting started on your leadership trajectory, we want you to join us! All are welcome!

Here’s what the evening will look like:

7pm — Arrive & get assigned 3 speed-networking groups. See art in the 3S Artspace gallery that will thrill, challenge, and inspire you. Meet amazing women doing amazing things. Have an excuse to introduce yourself, your work and your wildest dreams. Repeat.
8:15 — Hear about Feminist Oasis, our work and our wildest dreams. **spoiler: exciting announcements will be made* *
8:30 — Dance party! DJ Skooch will keep the groove going in the performance space, with tunes that celebrate the power of women coming together.
10pm — Head home, filled with inspiration and a packed calendar of future collaborations ...

Please join us — all are welcome! I hope to see you there!

*A note on our inclusive language: At Feminist Oasis, we like to use the term “womxn” as a way to reinforce that we are inclusive to all women and women-identifying people: cis, trans, gender non-binary, etc. Also, for this event, it’s especially appropriate, underscoring the power of multiplicity when all you badasses get together… womxn x womxn!
