Join Portsmouth Music and Arts Center at 3S and ROCK the HOUSE with the PMAC Teen Rock Band and Saturday Teen Jazz Ensemble students in their Spring Semester show!

This show features the Spring Semester's Teen Rock Bands (Monday 6pm Band, Monday 7pm Band, Friday 3:45pm Band, and the Rock 101 Band) and the Saturday Teen Jazz Ensemble. The Teen Rock Band program is led by Nick Phaneuf and Jim Dozet. The Saturday Teen Jazz Ensemble is led by Eric Klaxton.

The PMAC Teen Rock Band is for students ages 9 -18 who want to learn how to rock! Students learn how to collaborate by learning songs and they gain insight on the inner workings of a band. Alumni of the Teen Rock Band have gone on to lead their own bands, write and record albums, and perform throughout the U.S.!

The Saturday Teen Jazz Ensemble is for students ages 12 - 18 that want to explore playing contemporary jazz standards in a supportive setting. Students learn jazz song form structures, how to improvise and create their own sound within a group. Former members of the Saturday Teen Jazz Ensemble have majored in jazz performance and are active musicians along the seacoast.
